very cute style & comfortable but WAY TOO BIG / EJ, NY5/2/2008 I wear a size 7, wide sometimes (wider forefoot). These shoes were shockingly large, and I ordered both medium and wide widths. Canvas, colour, and styling very sporty, but the shoe just doesn''t stay on the foot. Valenci''s sizing seems insanely inconsistent: I''ve bought patent leather pumps in 7W that were too tight, boots that were too tight, and these shoes now enormous. Please correct and make consistent the styling: value would be great, if so!
Comfort and cuteness / Kathy, WV4/30/2008 These shoes are a bit roomy, but not overly so for me. They are comfortable and look so cute with my red T-shirt dress. After receiving a pair in red, I went back for the blue ones. They look adorable with my white capris and a blue T-shirt.
Heel Problem / Linda, NY4/27/2008 I am a perfect size 8 in every shoe and ordered 2 pairs, one in black and one in white. However, the heel fit is way too big. They do not hug the heel and your foot pops out of the shoe when you walk causing the shoe to come off. The shoes do not stay on the foot. I even had the shoemaker put a pad on the ball of the foot but that did not do anything. The shoe still came off. The style is cute and comfortable though if it stayed on the foot. Am returning both pairs.
Yep, I agree! / Caroline, PA4/21/2008 Yes, it''s true, these are sized funny. I am between a 7 and 7.5, ordered a 7 (white)and these are too big. They are also very cute, though, so I am going to put some stick-in pads in the heels, which I hope will be enough to keep them on my feet when I walk. Right now they are flopping all over the place. This is especially strange, since I also ordered another pair of AJ Valencis at the same time, size 7.5, and they fit fine. Go figure.
