LEATHER IS OK. THE LONG STRAP IS TOO SHORT & IT CANNOT BE ADJUSTABLE. I HAVE FEW BAR BAR BAGS & I AM GETTING TIRED ABOUT THE INSIDE LAYER. IT IS ALWAYS THE SAME OLD,SAME OLD. PERHAPS SHE SHOULD CONSIDER CHANGING THE WALL PAPER OR THE COLOR OF THE INSIDE LAYER. THE ZIPPER
SEAMS NOT DURABLE ENOUGH. I AM THINKING TO RETURN IT.

Really like this bag. Have MANY B&B Handbags. My grey one has brown trim instead of black, but I liked it! The brown on brown is what I really wanted (and have). Size is smaller than a TRUE weekender. Will keep the brown as a brief case. Not sure yet about the grey. NICE leather. Could hold its shape better when set down if reengineered.

Too small for a weekender - too large for a handbag - but the leather is divine! Loved the look of the bag, I just couldn't make the size work. Although the host raved that this could be a weekender it would have to be double the width to be truly useful. As far as a handbag - well, it's jsut too big. What it would be great for is a business tote. It's large enough to hold a notebook computer and legal files. Unfortunately at this price point I can't justify this bag for occassional use, sending it back.

Agree with a previous reviewer that the straps are all wrong, the short ones are too short for over the shoulder, the long ones there is no place to hook the straps on that lays the bag flat. This is not the first of Ms. Barr's styles that I had the strap issue. Why does she keep placing the strap hooks in odd places and keeping the short straps permanent instead of removable? Otherwise the bag would be a keeper.

Love the SIZE, SOFT leather, incredible color gray, but it was defective. One section of the leather was slightly discolored. I would have overlooked this because I liked the bag so much, until I noticed that one stud, on the corner cap, was not secured properly, ready to fall out!
Returned it the next day.
