Be aware if you order mahogany online

If you order this shoe online using the number 2 pull-down menu, the "select color" shows mahogany as the nubuck suede upper. I did not discover until I received the shoes that mahogany is in fact the leather shoe, which it does state further down in the description, but I missed that entirely. For that reason, I returned the shoes.

footbed was very comfortable. but like the others the heel was too high and caused a blister. will have to send it back. went to an earth shoe store found one with a lower heel... and it was very comfortable. just need to search for the right style.

Quality is Great - Dissapointed with fit! / MB, FL

I looked forward to receiving these shoes as I will be traveling in Canada and Alaska and needed a good quality shoe that would be tough enough for the weather but still provide a good look. Unfortunately, the fit just didn''t work. I wear an 8.5 so I ordered an 8. The shoes were still too big and very wide and similar to the other reviewer, within a minute of having them on realized they were going to tear up the back of my heels. So they are going back and my search will continue.

Comy foot bed, but heel blisters after 1st wear / Lynn, CA

I bought 3 pairs as I have plantar fasciitis (damaged arch). The foot bed is heaven on earth (can feel 3.7 degree incline), but only after 10 mins of walking, the heel grip was chafing my skin at back of my heels. After taking off shoes at end of day, I had blisters on the back of my heels. Unless I wear heel grips or band aids every day, I will be unable to wear these again. I am disappointed as foot bed is best I have experienced. Will give it another go w/heel grips.
