I bought the brown bowler late Oct 2009 and love it so much I bought it in black today. I find the bag a good blend of function and fashion. The dome shaped opening makes everything inside easily accessible and the bag is large enough for my taste. The brown color has a deep plum shade to it. I just ordered the black so I cannot tell you what shade of black it has. I also purchased a purse organizer [from QVC, Lori Greiner's purse organizer] to hold my wallet, checkbook, lipstick, etc in the bottom of the bowler so that it would not be a mess in my purse and it works wonderfully.

I am very picky about handbags because my life is too hectic to change bags every day. Opens wide so you can see everything easily. This bag looks much more expensive than it is and is really quite beautiful. Soft, pliable, sits on my shoulder without one strap falling down all the time. Outside zippered compartments just right for cell phone. Looks great with jeans and holds its own with really classy outfits.

Cute purse, but the color was awful,i ordered the brown, did not like it at all. Went back the next day. Go for the Black!

I spend lots of time reviewing products, reading reviews and comparing. So I was very excited about purchasing this item, until it arrived. It is NOT worth the money, It is not as big as I would have liked it to be and the quailty is cheap, considering the price. I am returning this bag ASAP.

I received this bag and wow!!! what a great
looking bag. I dont like bags that are too big
however this is just the right size for the money this bag is well worth every penny and more
