I bought this purse for my sister for her Birthday. When it was delivered I could smell the mildew even before I opened the box! I also tried to air it out for a week and that did no good. I even tried dryer sheets, that did not work either. It is a really cute purse but way to stinky. When I had it in the garage airing out, the garage was starting to smell like mildew! Of course I sent it back and will probably listen to the other reviewers next time. HSN is really good about returns though and just need to watch this kind of issue.

I have waited to the very last minute, hoping to come up with a solution that will remove the terrible mildew smell from this lovely purse. I want to keep it, and it makes me angry that I can't. I have tried everything, but to no avail. Please bring this bag back after you have a solution to the mildew problem. I would buy all 3 colors.

Mine didn't smell. But I wasn't wowed by it. I could go to my big box store and get one just like this, but with more charm. Ah well, the search continues for the perfect bag...

Iam giving this bag 5 stars for looks and 1 star for the stink factor. I left my bag outside for a week and a half and now its perfect. Iam keeping mine.

I ordered this bag after ignoring the comments about the smell. You were right; it smelled like mildew right out of the box. I did everything trying to eliminate the smell. So I ordered another one. Same thing happened. I put them both in a box to return and left them in one of the spare rooms for a few days until I could get them in the mail. My husband asked me "what is that musky smell" so I knew it wasn't just me. It's a beautiful bag.
