NOT true to size and cheaply made..... / Julia, CA7/15/2008 Cute, on trend style, but poorly made ( yes, horrible - made in CHINA- glue/ toxic smell). I ordered a 7 1/2 (my reg. size) WAY TOO small and then had to go up to 8 1/2 for length, but then they slipped and were uncomfortable and didn''t really stay on my foot properly. I LOVE Hot In Hollywood''s ideas and styles, but VERY " Hit and MISS" quality for sure!!! Sadly, both pairs go back. I hate to waste $$ on shipping, but they NEED are NOT a QUALITY sandal.
Cute but narrow and they STINK / Vicki, CA6/27/2008 Whoa! These smell! Maybe they were thrown in the box before the dye dried? Cant handle this! Going back. Also, I usually wear a medium but the band across the instep is tight. Order wide if u have a high instep. 5 Stars for the style and 2 for the workmanship.
Great / , IL6/26/2008 These are fabulous. I have them in black and hope I get the gold off the wait list. They are different and they do stay up. They aren''t tight around the leg but appear fine and feel great. I''m in retail and work on my feet at least 5 days a week so if you need comfortable shoes, these are great!!!
Great idea / M, OR6/18/2008 I liked the wrap around design and it looked like it would hold up really well, unfortunately, I couldn''t deal with the smell of the synthetic materials and glue....or whatever. Very strong smell. I don''t want to smell like this going to a party or dinner at a friend''s house. If I can smell it just trying it on, so would everyone else. Had to send it back. Would love to see this in leather...that would rock. (Hopefully then it won''t have this bad odor.)
Very Comfortable & Sexy!!!! / Patty, PA6/16/2008 I ordered black & gold in the 7 Wide. I don''t have a wide foot, but decided to try the W since the M was sold out in my size. The black arrived earlier this afternoon (the gold are in transit to me) & I''ve been wearing them since I took them out of the box! No problem at all with these being a W, so if that''s the only thing holding you back, go for it! They are very comfortable--the thong does not hurt at all!!! Very sexy on the foot & great to be able to wrap them in a variety of ways.
