I loved the look and color of this bag, but it does not stand up by itself so I returned it. It is so heavy with no structure to the bottom or the sides, so it just slouches down.

This bag is awesome, I had bought a different Mariposa bag, but it was just too big for my small body. This one is shaped a little differently but good size, plenty of room for anything and everything. Don't even hesitate if you are tempted. Grest quality too.

My 2nd sharif bag is HUGE to me, but Im a small person, horizontally AND vertically challenged, at 5' and 106 lbs...surprisingly enough, this isnt an issue...the braided handles are extremely sturdy, yet quite comfortable, even when the bag is full..."Patent" in the description almost scared me away (dont like patent) but I thought a bit of patent trim might be ok...Well, not only was I right about that, but the patent added a nice touch of dimension that spiffs up a dull black bag...3rd mariposa already in cart, waiting for a sale price...

not 11 1/2' inch handle drop

Not sure if I will keep handbag, love everything about it except the handle drop. I need at least an 11' inch handle drop, it is almost my top priority. Have difficulty with anything less, it;s just the way my arm/shoulders are. Have to be able to swoop in up on shoulder using just 1 hand. Had difficulty sliding this up past elbow crook with 1 arm, so measured the drop myself, I measure it only to be 9 1/2 " inches. Maybe HSN measures differentlly than I do. Pay attention to this measurement if this is important to you!! Nice bag otherwise.
