These are gorgeous sandals, but I would be more excited if they had more cushion in the arch area. Some other shoe makers are putting a light layer of memory foam in the insole, and this would be so remarkable on this shoe. It is pretty, and at this price, one shouldn't have to pay for an auxillary insole for softness.

1st,let me say I own NUMEROUS PAIR OF SAM'S SHOES & AM A HUGE FAN!Such a huge fan that I ordered these in 3 COLORS SO I WOULDN'T MISS OUT! However, only 3 stars because they lack the usual comfort and I think it is the wood heel. Sam, we ladies MUST HAVE the SHOCK ABSORBTION properties--ALL YOU CAN GIVE US! We want gorgeous..AND WE MUST BE ABLE TO STAND FOR LONG HOURS!PLEASE TALK TO LIBBY...COMBINE YOUR DESIGN TALENTS WITH HER CUSHIONING SENSIBILITY and the TWO OF YOU WILL OWN THE SHOE WORLD!
