Tons of Compliments! / Trisha, CA7/18/2008 I purchased this bag in the floral leather with goldtone accents. Being normally a "black & silver" girl, at first I thought the gold accents were a bit much. I also wasn''t convinced on the size of the bag... but I must say - this bag is SO so beautiful and different and Comfortable -- I LOVE it now! And - although I have several Sharif bags, this is the one I always always get compliments on!! It is SO so different and absolutely Beautiful!! You can''t go wrong with any colour.
OOOOPS!! / Julia, GA6/3/2008 I ordered this in paisley patent leather. Lovely, but with only the fluffy tassle lost its braid binding when touched.Glued not sewn on. Allother Sharif bags I''ve ordered haven''t had ANY issues! Also this bag, unlike his others does not have exterior compartments forkeys or cellphone, etc. I will keep it because the painted patent is great! But I have come to expect more from Sharif. I''m disappointed!!
Fabulous! / Debra, OH5/30/2008 I just received the Paisley. I love it, love it, love it. I would have given this bag an excellent rating -- except for 2 things. 1) The zipper. It is too short. Who on earth thought it would be a good idea to put a zipper on a bag that is 2 inches shorter than the lenght? 2)The bag is very light weight -- I could swear its not real leather. But I don''t care. Since I don''t eat beef anymore, a non-leather beautiful bag is even better.
LET DOWN / PJ, IA5/22/2008 I was so excited to get this handbag and when I did I was totally let down; there is no structure, it just flops. I thought the chains were bulky, noisy and to heavy for the bag. Oh well, I loved the print but not the bag itself. Back it goes!!
