I got the bone color at the sale price. The tassels are kind of big.the rope handles are very thick and the faux bone handle can slip off the shoulder.
But when I realize it is a weekender and I can put all my stuff in there and use it for that., it seems worth it.I might tie a small scarf around the handle or a few western charms to give it a diff. look. Even a few turq. beads might work or wear a turq bracelet with it.
It did catch my imagination ...:>)

Shortly after the bag arrived, the pin holding the handle on broke. Unfortunately the leather repair shop would not fix it for me. I now use the bag with a nail as the pin, but the end of the nail often gets caught in clothing, etc. Disappointing for a bag at this price.

I've been looking for a bag big enough, but small enough to use daily. I have a granddaughter who loves Gram to carry her special things in my bag. This one does the job. Love the size, love the color and texture of leather, love the pink inside, Got the bone color, love it! This is my first Sharif, think I'll be back for more.

I got this in the brown & I love it! The leather is soft but sturdy & artistically tooled & gilded. The shape is great & I love the bag's design.Gave 4 stars instead of 5 because the leather,altho beautiful lambskin,is made up of pieces,like patchwork. Also,would have preferred leather to the manmade trim.Wish the bag was 16" or 17" instead of 21" so it could be used as an everyday handbag instead of just an overnite bag.
Love & own several Sharif bags!

I received my brown bag and was not happy with it, I am sending it back. Poor quality leather and the straps and fringes are very cheap (they are not leather) looking for the price of the bag. If I pay almost $200 for a bag, I want my straps to be at least leather.
