Wonderful / , NV5/22/2008 I ordered these in orange, and I love them. I don''t think they look like plastic at all. Every time I wear them, people stop me and ask where I got them. They can''t believe they are Birkinstocks because they look so slim and trim. Great fit.
NOT loving it... / , CA5/15/2008 I ordered the tan...unfortunately, I guess I am not a "patent" leather(?) lover; they looked like cheap plastic! I read reviews that some say they are "made in Germany"; are different shoes being shipped or are they not reading the hang-tags? Sure, the German footbed is authentic, but the balance IS made in China. I imagine that costs are reduced, and my computer is also made in China...but I beleive these are going back. I also felt them more uncomfortable than other Berkies I''ve worn.
Feel like cheap knock off brand / Liz, NY4/29/2008 These are poor quality. They are uncomfortable. They don''t feel or look like any other birkenstock I''ve ever had (I''ve had about 10 different pairs). They not only look cheap, they feel awful. I''ve never owned the Tatami brand before and I never will again. Is it even made by the same company? Perhaps I didn''t do my research, I thought a birkenstock was a birkenstock. Not so. These are definately going back.
SAD / Nancy, CA4/15/2008 I was really looking forward to getting these shoes. When I received them, they were very cute.
I tried them on and the right foot first strap was longer than the left shoe first strap - also the right shoe was off somewhat and was crooked on my foot - I guess because the straps were not put on right
I was very disappointed.
Does HSN have quality control?
Just Perfect!!!!! / LaVonne , CA3/26/2008 received these fuchsia sandles today, and they are soooooo comfortable, and the fit is right on, and BOY ARE THEY LITE, just like walking on air. I have sooooo many betula, and eurowellness, but thes tatami shoes are the best for sure, go for it girls, they are just PERFECT!!!! can''t wait for the new ones to come.
