This Bag is A Monstrosity!3/6/2008 Could not get it back in the box and to the post office fast enough. It''s tremendous and lined in black-a black hole-how could you ever find anything-chain is too short and even if this bag went down to $9.95 it wouldn''t be worth it.
Disappointed / justine, CA2/5/2008 The bag itself is very attractive and the interior has lots of room. The long zipper closure is better than on most bags. The absolute most disapointing feature of the bag is the extremely heavy chain handle. It overtakes the light weightlessness of the bag itself. The chain is not only heavy, it is totally unmanageable. A soft lightweight strap handle would make the bag a "winner" and would be well worth the original price. I am returning the bag.
A Poor Choice / Ann-marie, NJ1/26/2008 This bag was a sad disappointment. The outer bag seemed to me, by the discription, that it would be something sort of like a Whiting @ Davis type idea -- was I wrong!! The outer is a thick, spongy, awful kind of fiberglass feeling material that feels awful, scratchy, and looks very unattractive. The heavy heavy chain is awkward and ugly.
Eye catching and soft to the touch. Love it!!! / Ann the shopper, NV1/26/2008 Needed the black to match the boots. Luckily I didn''t have the problems reported below. The chain is of good quality. The weight sort of reminds me of a dog leash chain. A long sleeve top helps to keep it from slipping off of my shoulder. It''s a big bag but not huge like some of my others. lol. Also, although it looks really square and hard in the video & photo it''s not. It feels like velvet! You can "smooch" it together (like a hobo) which makes it both smaller and softer looking.
