Beautiful, comfortable shoe but...  / Guyana, DC 10/18/2009
The elastic on one of the shoes popped within a couple of hours after wearing them. After careful examination, the elastic on both shoes appeared rotted/old. I didn't want to spend the expense of shipping them back so I took them to a shoe repair parlor and was charged $12.50 for the repair. Unfortunately when I went to pick-up the shoes, all of the elastic was removed and the buttons stitched back incorrectly. So, of course, I left the shoes and am now scheduled to pick them up next week. Hopefully, they will be wearable. I'm so mad at myself for not sending them back for an exchange.
